1. Website operator

MARE RISK LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") operates the M.A.R.E.™ websites and publishes the public content covered by this notice. We are the entity responsible for the services offered through them.

2. Website purpose

Our websites present maritime intelligence, vessel monitoring, voyage risk and related services. Our public pages describe capabilities at a general level and may change as our services develop.

3. Permitted use

You may browse our websites and share links for lawful business purposes. You may not interfere with their operation, bypass access controls, extract content at a disruptive scale, misrepresent content, introduce malicious code or use our websites to infringe another person's rights.

4. Operational and professional information

Our public website content does not constitute a live navigational instruction, security order, legal opinion, sanctions determination, insurance decision or voyage approval. Maritime conditions can change after publication.

Clients receive operational reports, alerts and analyst support under the applicable service agreement, alongside their own command, safety and compliance procedures. The Master and responsible shore personnel retain authority for vessel decisions.

5. Intellectual property

M.A.R.E.™ names, logos, platform visuals, text, data structures and original materials belong to MARE RISK LIMITED or its licensors. Applicable law may allow limited quotation or another permitted use. Any broader copying, republication, resale or modification requires our written permission.

Third-party names, marks, imagery and data remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Accuracy, availability and security

We work to keep our public content accurate and our websites available. Internet services can experience delays, errors, attacks or interruptions, and public information can become outdated.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MARE RISK LIMITED excludes liability for loss caused by reliance on public website content, service interruption or unauthorized third-party activity. This clause does not exclude liability that law does not allow a party to exclude.

Links to third-party websites serve as a convenience. The third party controls its content, security, availability and policies. A link does not imply our endorsement unless the page states otherwise.

8. Privacy, cookies and AI governance

9. Client contracts and applicable law

A client agreement may set additional terms for platform access, deliverables, confidentiality, service levels, liability, governing law and dispute resolution. Mandatory law continues to apply. This public notice does not replace or amend a signed agreement, and the agreement prevails for the services it covers.

In the absence of a client agreement, the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region governs this notice and your use of our public websites, and the Hong Kong courts have jurisdiction. This does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer or data protection rules that apply where you live.
